Using the IVAR chair by Ikea as the base furniture piece Rooted Senses is a project exploring the concept of customisation in design. I took an interest in the environmental issue of light pollution in Venice. Through the exploration of materials, light projection and colour I designed an attachable lamp component sustainable for the Venetian environment.
